BOOKINGS / DEPOSITS / PAYMENTS
Bookings are made by completing the online booking form which will be directed to Jo Patton - Cruising Adventures where an agent will contact you to confirm and discuss cabin requirements.
A $300* deposit will be required to guarantee your position. You will receive a reservation number once you have directly paid them the deposit. Full payment for balance of cruise/any other travel arrangements made and the scrapbooking portion is payable and due by the date indicated on your invoice.

SOFIE ROSSIDES
Hi, I am Sofie Rossides, owner and designer for Scrapmatts, an Australian company manufacturing Chipboard & Stencils, along with my husband Andrew.
We are based in Sydney and have worked together in the Craft Industry for 38 years.
I am a passionate paper crafter and I first started playing with colours and textures from the age of 11, which later led us to run Craft Shops for over 25 years. I also enjoy creating layouts as well as Off The Page projects.
Having been a card maker for many, many years, I have a lot of knowledge and technique to share. Teaching throughout Australia, as well as overseas, I always enjoy seeing the results of my students. I also run Retreats in country NSW.
My new passion is designing paper to complement Scrapmatts Chipboard, often it is challenging to find the correct paper, colour and size to fit on a card, so I just create my own.
I am really looking forward to combining two of my favourite addictions on this cruise, teaching card making and cruising, a perfect combination.

CRECE THOMAS
Hello fellow crafters, my name is Crece Thomas and I’m excited to be coming along to teach you on this cruise.
I moved to Ipswich, Queensland in my early 20s with my first born and then partner (now hubby)
I started documenting the growth of my first born in a photo album with Winnie the Pooh stickers and embellishments I found in Kmart - I didn’t even know what scrapbooking was, till I had my 2nd child and read about a new local scrapbooking store that opened in the area.
I entered the store and was overwhelmed with all the pretty papers and colours. I went along to a few classes and knew right then this was going to become a HUGE part of my life. I have always been known to dabble into crafts in the past and from learning how to scrapbook, to making cards and off the page projects there was no stopping me.
Being part of the Scrapmatts design team has been one of my best highlights in my crafting journey. Sofie and Andrew have asked me to craft shows in Sydney & Melbourne as well as Brisbane and Toowoomba to demo using their lovely chipboards and even teaching some classes.
I am part owner, with my friend Tracey, of 2 Bluebirds, a little boutique scrapbooking and craft shop in Newtown, Ipswich, QLD.
I love to create scrapbook layouts, cards, mini albums and other off the page projects, my style is a mix of everything with pops of mixed media elements.
You will need to bring along a normal basic tool kit. Similar to what you would bring to any retreat.
Items to definitely include:
- craft matt – needs only to be a small A4 mat but something to use with your craft knife.
- craft knife
- small scissors (blades to be no longer than 4″)
- edge distressor
- adhesives….lots of them (include tape runners/adhesive tape and glues for embellishments)
