Welcome aboard the VOYAGER OF THE SEAS for this 12 Nights adventure to some of the very best islands the South Pacific have to offer.
In addition to this awesome itinerary, on the Sea Days outside of our scheduled class times you can quilt/patchwork to your hearts content in our 24/7 private conference room, or just enjoy and participate in some of the great activities onboard the ship.

Rachelle has been quilting for 17 years teaching and working in the Patchwork and quilting industry for over 11 of these.
An experienced teacher with a passion to share her knowledge and skills with her students, teaching a wide variety of classes, including piecing, applique, machine quilting and block of the month quilts.
Rachelle has been designing her own quilts since she first started quilting and enjoys improving her own skill level by entering quilt competitions.
Well known for beautiful machine quilting her show quilts have won numerous awards both Nationally and Internationally including two Best of Australia Awards.
Please note this will be updated closer to the cruise date
• Floriani Stitch and Wash Fusible (supplied)
• Sewline Glue Pen plus refills
• Roxannes Basting Glue with the fine tip applicator
• Monofilement Thread for top stitching ( YLI or Superior Brand)
• Fine neutral thread for bobbin
• Neutral/matching cotton thread for piecing
• Rotary Cutter, mat and quilters ruler (bring whatever rulers you have)
• General sewing supplies eg: machine needles, pins, scissors, unpicker.
On this cruise there will be two gorgeous new projects for you to choose from. Both will incorporate Rachelles favourite turned edge applique technique combined with piecing.
- Project #1
is a row by row style quilt with pieced blocks alternating with rows of stunning applique flowers.
- Project #2
is an applique garden filled with large blooms growing from a striking pieced planter box base.
There will be two colourway’s to choose from and a choice of dark or light background fabric.
Included with in your kit will be:
- Full colour pattern book for both projects
- Fabric kit to complete the top for one of the projects
- Preprinted applique papers for the chosen project
You will have the option to pre order or purchase an extra kit that you could use to increase the size of the size of your chosen project at home or to complete the second quilt.
All instructions will be included in your pattern book.
Optional evening class with a small embroidery project.
