South Pacific Scrapbooking – Jan 2020

Join myself and the gorgeous Anguree Jansen Van Rensburg as we head back once again to the South Pacific Islands for 12 nights.  Anguree is currently on both Design Teams for 49 & Market and 13Arts and her classes will be featuring these brands.

If you have never been before this is the perfect cruise to get a glimpse of some of the very best islands this area has to offer; such as Lifou, Mare and a personal favourite Isle Of Pines.  Just to tempt you even further Mystery Island has been thrown in there too.

Places in the classes are limited. Don’t miss out. Get a few of your friends and book together.

Balcony Staterooms

A stateroom with a balcony is a great way to make your cruise adventure even more memorable and truly take in your destination. These Staterooms offer a spectacular view, small sitting area and a private balcony.

Oceanview Staterooms

Spend the day exploring the world, then come back to your room and never miss a moment as you enjoy the amazing views from the window in your stateroom. These larger staterooms offer a gorgeous view, two twin beds and a private bathroom.

Interior Staterooms

Spend your days on board by the pool, on sports deck or scrapbooking in the conference room. Then relax at night in the comfort of your interior stateroom.

The standard stateroom offers two twin beds, a private bathroom and all the facilities of our standard staterooms. Some interior staterooms have a virtual balcony.

Promenade Stateroom

For an interior room with a view, opt for a Promenade Stateroom, available on all Voyager Class ships. They offer all the features of a standard stateroom, plus a bowed window overlooking the Promenade.

Anguree Jansen Van Rensburg

Hello there, my name is Anguree, and I am super excited to come and cruise with you.

I am married to an wonderful guy and live in beautiful Darwin.
We have no children except for a very spoiled Chocolate Labrador, Charlie.
I love to travel and also enjoy spending time in nature.

Fun fact:
I love to travel but sometimes my all responsible self gets left at home and the crazy inner-child comes along.
On one holiday I have bungee jumped with both a pushbike and a scooter.
Why, you ask me? Uhmm I wanted the photo… 😉😜

I  started crafting at a very early age and paint, colour and beads have always captured my imagination. Growing up in a small rural town in South-Africa meant that I had to be creative and make the most of things I could find around the house. Food colour, coffee and bits and bobs from mom’s sewing cupboard had to do the job in addition to a couple pots of paint or watercolor from the only stationary store in town. I discovered scrapbooking in it’s formal form about 13 years ago, but things really stared to click into place in 2013, when I had the opportunity to meet a couple of the fabulous ladies in our scrapbooking world. I attended their classes and made wonderful friends in the process.Through their love, encouragement and support I eventually found my way and learned the skills I needed for this beautiful hobby.   In 2016, I won Australia’s Card-maker of the year Competition and have been fortunate to have my work featured various magazines in Australia. I am very fortunate to work with two of my favorite manufactures namely 13Arts and 49 And Market. In addition I also design for Scrappy Chat Designs, More than Words Challenges and Kraft Plus.

Through the years I’ve worked with wonderful people and different design teams and manufactures including Scrap FX.

I’m truly humbled by the opportunities that I have been given and can only say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can’t wait spend some time with you and  hope that I can inspire and encourage you  in the little time we have together. My wish is that you will experience the same joy, support and love in doing what you love and creating beautiful work.

If you want to know more about me, follow these links and have a peak at some of the fun stuff you could be doing in a couple of weeks.

This information will be provided to booked in guests closer to the travel date.

You will need to bring along a normal basic scrapbooking tool kit.  Similar to what you would bring to any retreat.

Items to definitely include:

  • craft matt – needs only to be a small A4 mat but something to use with your craft knife.
  • craft knife
  • small scissors (blades to be no longer than 4″)
  • edge distressor
  • adhesives….lots of them  (include tape runners/adhesive tape and glues for embellishments)

Optional Extra’s  (not necessary but certainly helps if you have them

  • mini mister
  • apron
  • baby wipes (to clean up your area and hands) – no taps in the conference room to wash hands.

You will be given kits for each class so its not necessary to bring along other scrapbooking products unless you have something specific in mind you want to work on whilst away.

Closer to the sailing date I will give you photograph requirements which you can either bring from home or cut up white card stock to relevant sizes so you can use on layouts and replace with a real photo when you have a suitable one.
