Hi there. My name is Natalie May.
I’m lucky enough to be a full time paper crafter and I couldn’t be happier! I’m happily married to the awesome Clever Trevor & have a beautiful teenage girl child!
I teach around 15 classes a month in Australia and absolutely LOVE what I do – turning my hobby into my job & passion. I’m the Australian Educator for Lindy's Stamp Gang , I design stamps, stencils, dies and paper for Paper Rose, I’ve been a Scrapbooking Memories Master, an Intermediate Certified Copic Designer and love everything inky & colour based.
One of the things that keeps me inspired and teaching is that I love to create in all styles.
As much as this industry likes to ‘Pigeon Hole’ people, I am a versatile artist – I regularly teach & create not only scrapbooking layouts but also Cards, Mixed Media Layouts, Paper based Layouts, Art Journaling, Abstract Canvas Art, plus Kids classes and whatever else I can come up with.
I love this industry … the opportunity to teach a new technique…. Meeting so many amazing people…..and to be able to CREATE everyday is quite a blessing.
You can view more of my work at …www.happydaks.blogspot.com and find me on Instagram under happydaks and Facebook as well.
You will need to bring along a normal basic scrapbooking tool kit. Similar to what you would bring to any retreat.
Items to definitely include:
- craft matt – needs only to be a small A4 mat but something to use with your craft knife.
- craft knife
- small scissors (blades to be no longer than 4″)
- edge distressor
- adhesives….lots of them (include tape runners/adhesive tape and glues for embellishments)
Optional Extra’s (not necessary but certainly helps if you have them
- mini mister
- baby wipes (to clean up your area and hands) – no taps in the conference room to wash hands.
You will be given kits for each class so its not necessary to bring along other scrapbooking products unless you have something specific in mind you want to work on whilst away.
Closer to the sailing date I will give you photograph requirements which you can either bring from home or cut up white card stock to relevant sizes so you can use on layouts and replace with a real photo when you have a suitable one.
More details on the requirements for each class will be given closer to the cruise date.
