After a day of exploring the world, its exotic cuisine and interesting cultures, there’s nothing better than returning to the comfort of your private stateroom. Every one of the staterooms are designed to be a comfortable, relaxing place for you to rest after your adventures. The staterooms vary by ship but every room offers a television, telephone, private bathroom, shower, vanity area and even a hair-dryer.

Balcony Staterooms

Open your private balcony door and take in the beautiful view. It’s a great way to get close to every destination and make the most of your holiday at sea.

Deluxe Ocean View Staterooms with Balcony offer a spectacular view, small sitting area and a private balcony.

Balcony

Oceanview Staterooms

You’ll never miss a moment of the breathtaking scenery just outside your window.. These larger staterooms offer a gorgeous view, two twin beds and a private bathroom.

Oceanview

Interior Staterooms

Spend your days on board by the pool, on sports deck or scrapbooking in the conference room. Then relax at night in the comfort of your interior stateroom.

These nicely appointed rooms are excellent value.  The standard stateroom offers two twin beds, a private bathroom and all the facilities of a standard staterooms.

Interior

You don’t have to bring actual photographs but if you could possibly cut up white cardstock/paper to the following required photograph sizes it would be great.  This allows you to continue working with the class, finish the layout and then replace the white cardstock with a photograph when you return home.  Alternatively you can keep it on your page and use it as a photo matte.  As many of my photographs are printed with a white border this is a great way to crate that same effect.

More details on classes and what photo sizes are required will be given closer to the cruise

You will need to bring along a normal basic scrapbooking tool kit.  Similar to what you would bring to any retreat.

Items to definitely include:

  • craft matt – needs only to be a small A4 mat but something to use with your craft knife.
  • craft knife and ruler
  • messy matt or some blending matt (to put ink and modelling paste on etc)
  • small scissors (blades to be no longer than 4″)
  • edge distressor -(to distress the edges of papers)
  • brown ink pad – (e.g. Tim Holtz – walnut ink is my go to ink pad)
  • Blending tool to use with the ink
  • Pallet knife or old credit card (to use with modelling paste)
  • Mini Mister (to spritz and water down inks etc)
  • adhesives….lots of them  (include tape runners/adhesive tape and glues for embellishments)
  • Baby Wipes

Optional Extra’s  (not necessary but certainly helps if you have them)

  • Dimensional Magic (Modpodge) – or Glossy Accents (Ranger)
  • Permanent Black Ink
  • Acrylic Block for stamping

You will be given kits for each class so its not necessary to bring along other scrapbooking products unless you have something specific in mind you want to work on whilst away.

Closer to the sailing date you will be given more detailed list of requirements.

In regards to photograph requirements which you can either bring from home or cut up white card stock to relevant sizes so you can use on layouts and replace with a real photo when you have a suitable one.
