Class 2 (Day 4) JOURNAL – Jane Tregenza
9.30am – 12.30pm
I love junk and hoarding bits and pieces and favorite papers for special projects is one of my more questionable habits. I know I am not alone as most of you also have the same box or even a cupboard full of your own treasures. So when Melissa asked me to teach on a cruise with such talented teachers, I decided to do a mini junk/eclectic album – travel/family themed. This way I can share lots of my own treasures and use stacks of different papers, charms, chipboard ribbons, stamps and much much more and you don’t have to worry about photos. I plan to give you enough stuff to keep you busy for a few days. We will be making one 6×6 inch album and I will include some extras so you can make a second one if you like. You can take photos of our cruise for your album as we go along if you wish too. I have been shopping up a storm and will be giving you your own set of Tim Holtz Mini Motivation set of 12 stamps along with some other lovely goodies. We will also be doing a bit of mixed media in our album just to keep you on your toes. I love this form of scrapbooking and am sure you will be delighted with your album and become as addicted as I am.
My mini album can hold 24-30 photos, it is travel themed but you could use it for a family album. Please note that some of the papers/embellishments are travel themed though. All the photos required at 4 x 6″ and most will nee t be cropped smaller. If you can get some of your photos printed two per a 4 x 6″ print or 1/2 size that would be awesome. Otherwise you can use this for your cruise album and take photos as you go along, then print them when you get back and add them.
I will include a photo of every page for you to keep and take home..
Class 3 (Day 5) – MINTAY – Marina Class by Jenny Heaslip

“Sometimes we have way too many photos for just one standard double page layout. In this class we will create a page that can hold 22 photos, most of them full sized 6” x 4” size, that has interesting interactive elements that lift or open to reveal hidden areas. We will be using the gorgeous Marina range from Mintay with colours of navy, red and white with touches of mustard and there will also be a touch of flowers and twine to finish off. I have also designed an optional bonus double page with the leftovers for you to complete after class. I am so looking forward to joining you in class and also on the cruise in general, it’s going to be awesome”
